Eddy Langton
Meet Chef Eddy, our Head Chef at Geales.
Chef Eddy's background covers all areas of hospitality. Over the 15 years, he has been in the industry, he has done bartending, waiter, kitchen steward, and cooking. He also cooked in every type of outlet, from small coffee shops, Michelin-starred restaurants, 5-star hotels, and resorts.
When asked about his favorite sport: football - he does not get the chance to play as much anymore, but if he is not in the kitchen, he is either watching football or playing it - mainly on console.
"Don't be afraid to ask for help or ask questions, we can always learn from everyone around us even those in other positions" - Chef Eddy.
Darius Mobaraki
A football and UFC fanatic, Darius was born and raised in Newcastle in the UK.
He started off in Dubai in 2014 and joined Geales, an award-winning British restaurant at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa as Bartender. He quickly made his way up to become the Restaurant Manager of the wildly popular Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar at the Grosvenor House, a Luxury Collection Hotel.
Darius joined the Michelin-recommended Rhodes W1 in 2020 as Restaurant Manager. Now, Darius is back to Geales as Operations Manager.
In his free time, he likes to go out for a good dinner and of course, watch Newcastle United F.C. play.
